Concessions for Classics Scheme
Concession for Classics (C4C) scheme – is a voluntary concession which will be available to owners of eligible street rods and vehicles manufactured prior to 1990.
Eligible vehicle owners who apply for the concession will receive a 75% vehicle licence fee discount, along with a reduced motor injury insurance premium due to the vehicle’s restricted road use. A vehicle with this concession applied;
- 30 days for personal use (includes testing, maintenance and repair)
As a financial member with our DoT approved motoring club, vehicle owners will be able to apply for the concession if you wish.
To be an DoT approved motoring club in WA, we must:
- maintain a register of the vehicles owned by our club members;
- maintain records of our approved club events (including other endorsed motoring club events), and
- notify the DoT should the club ever disband, or the Incorporation Status ceases.

- can be used for a maximum of 90 days per calendar year, being
- 30 days for personal use (includes testing, maintenance and repair)
- cannot be used for fee, hire or reward; and
- must display an approved plate or label stating ‘Restricted Use’.
As a financial member with our DoT approved motoring club, vehicle owners will be able to apply for the concession if you wish.
To be an DoT approved motoring club in WA, we must:
- have proof that the club is an incorporated body
- have a constitution;
- have a minimum of 30 financial members; and
- comply with the responsibilities of being a DoT approved motoring club
- maintain a register of the vehicles owned by our club members;
- maintain records of our approved club events (including other endorsed motoring club events), and
- notify the DoT should the club ever disband, or the Incorporation Status ceases.
